The unofficial launch
Welcome to oreillywriter:gamefilter, a blog dedicated to enthusiast videogame writing. I’m Rob O’Reilly, your resident game enthusiast. While, as a rule, I try to be as unbiased as possible, let me get all my inherent biases out of the way:
I currently own only one “next-generation” console: the Nintendo Wii. I consider the Nintendo Wii a “next-generation” console. The term “next-generation” as it is used above will be hereto referred to as “current-generation.” I’ve never been much of a PC gamer, and on top of that, I currently use and endorse Ubuntu Linux.
I’ll update the list as I see fit. But just know: I’m opinionated and often cantankerous. While you may not agree with me, I hope you can enjoy yourself in either having your opinions challenged or, simply, being able to gawk at the moron on the internet who thinks his opinions matter. Either way: we all get something out of it.
