Guys, I found this video on my Dad’s computer. No, really. He works for like, IGN, or something. I dunno, I’m not my Father’s Dad, how should I know? Whatever. I found this video about some kid who found an early version of Duck Hunt for Wii in his Dad’s desk. Apparently, his dad works for Hudson, so this is definitely legit. Check it out, this is amazing:

Okay, for those unfamiliar with sarcasm, here are the knocks against the authenticity of this video, in order of their appearance:

• The video starts with game already playing. Why didn’t they show it booting from the Wii menu?
• The story is incredibly dubious.
• The sound effects and music are straight rips from the NES game.
• The Wii he is using to play appears to be unmodified or, at least, not the kind of system used to play software that is currently in development.
• The quality of everything is just awful; Terrible camera work and terrible animation in the game.
• The person “playing” does not even once try to shoot the dog. There has never, ever, through the entire course of human history, been a person who has played Duck Hunt and not tried to shoot the dog.

Yeah, so the video is most likely fake. I don’t doubt that Nintendo is working on a new Duck Hunt for the Wii, but, no, not this, not ever.
