North American Virtual Console Update (02/18/08)
Two games, both sequels, both have new entires popping up to this day. One series is still pretty good, the other, uh, became an online multiplayer game.
Phantasy Star II (GEN; 800 points) – The sequel to Phantasy Star I on the master system, II is a bit more of the same and a whole lot of dfficult maze/dungeon action. This game is notable for being one of the most expensive Genesis games ever released.
Ninja Gaiden III (NES; 500 points) – Speaking of insane difficulty, Ninja Gaiden is one series known for its ability to send even the most peace loving soul into a blind rage so consuming, so total, that those spared are the ones who are also consumed by Ninja Gaiden rage. These games could win wars, folks, that’s all I’m saying. Now, having said that, some people find Ninja Gaiden III the easiest in the series.
