GDC: LostWinds finds WiiWare

Announced alonside Wiiware, LostWinds is an original title being exclusively developed for the Wii. Developed by Frontier Developers, LostWinds has you taking control of two characters, Toku and Enril, on a quest to, you guessed it, save the world. Despite the somewhat cliché plot device, the game really does sound pretty remarkable.
Toku, the character visible in the screenshot above, is controlled entirely with the nunchuck attachment. Enril, a character not quite as visible, is actually elemental wind which can interact with Toku’s environment and is controlled entirely with the wii-remote. Frontier calls this “single player co-op,” which is new-slang for “exactly the type of thing the wii-remote was made for.”
