Wii Fit dated in NA and EU
Ready to lose that winter chub? Ready to start taking your New Years Resolution seriously? Well, you’ll have to wait a little longer if you’re in the Americas and if you’re European, well do you really need Wii Fit to begin with? Let’s pretend you do: you’re getting an incredibly rare release before your Dough-boy counterparts!
Nintendo is set to release Wii Fit in PAL territories on April 25th with an NTSC release to follow May 19th. There is no specific price for the package yet, though in an interview with IGN, Reggie Fils-Aime confirmed it would retail for “under $100.” If you’re not the gambling type, take this to mean $99.99. If you’re in Europe take this to mean, unfortunately, €99.99.
Reggie also confirmed in his IGN interview that over 10 games which use Wii Fit’s balance board are currently in development. No specifics were given, but if you’re the gambling type, start readying your knees for the brutality of a first person Super Mario Bros. remake.
