IGN launches Super Smash Bros. World
It turns out that IGN does what Nintendon’t, as the media group has officially launched a new website devoted to sharing stages and images from Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Called Super Smash Bros. World, the site allows you to view, rate, download, and upload custom stages for the game. Already featuring over a 100 stages, some even made by IGN staff, Smash World nicely fills out the few features that Brawl is actually missing.
If you have some free time, why not check out Gamefilter’s custom stage? We won’t tell you whether or not it features the song “Live & Learn,” so you’ll have to figure that out on your own.
Here is what we will tell you: called “Hallway,” the stage has three rows of tightly packed “hallways” in which you are to brawl. When inside the structure it is downright impossible to be smashed upwards, so you’ll have to kick your opponents off the side. As a special bonus, the stage features a spike pit on its bottom-most level, a feature that seems to befuddle any computer opponent. Human opponents will probably be smart enough to stay the hell away from that part of the level.
Now, if IGN could just find a way around the whole friend code business, we’d be all set.
