For those that single handedly caused Clover Studio’s closure: while nothing will ever remove the stain of not having purchased Okami when it would have truly mattered, you can at least make a slight difference in supporting great videogames soon. Having recently been pushed back to April 15th, undoubtedly to avoid the earth-shattering ultra-game called Super Smash Bros. Brawl but now unfortunately and unexpectedly set up against a little game called Mario Kart Wii, Okami is, at least, the only game starring a wolf that comes out in April. The game does have one advantage at least: it will retail for the lower-than-normal price of $39.99.

With the game’s release eminent, we can expect to see more and more footage from the waggle-infused port come down the pipes. Case in point: 60 spanking new images of Okami, running in its spanking new widescreen mode.

Wonderful.
