In Brief: Play-Asia post-Easter, pre-Fools sale
Envious about the choices your Asian counterparts have when it comes to videogames? Still holding a candle for that dating-sim franchise to finally get a U.S. translation? Well, just go get Sprung, because that one isn’t happening.
However, if you’re looking for such fine things as Moero! Nekketsu Rhythm Damashii Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan 2 for the ridiculous price of 26 dollars, including shipping, then you have just reached Shangri-La, my friend. Play-Asia is having a post-Easter sale and much of its stock is 20% off! If you’ve been hesitant to try your hand at importing, now has never been a cheaper time to tide those trepidations. If you own a Nintendo DS, a PSP, or a Sony PS3 you don’t even need to make modifications to your console to play the Japanese software. Even if you’re uninterested in importing games, Play-Asia stocks many North American region games, too.
Unfortunately, there are some limitations. To qualify for the sale, the item must currently be in stock and ready to ship within 24 hours. It also can’t be videogame hardware. Bummer, I’d totally have bitten on a GP2X.
